Conflict Resolution Projects

Women Peace Huts

The Peace Hut is a special location in a community where citizens can gather and speak about their problems and conflicts. With the support of UN Women we built several of these huts in rural Liberian communities with the objective that local women in particular have a place where they can discuss women related problems and disputes.

Mediation in Kinjor

Kinjor is a city in the Western part of Liberia. Since 2013, a mining company has been extracting gold and replacing the local community. During the process of resettlement a conflict evolved between different groups of the community and the company. To resolve this conflict we are currently acting as mediators.
